The Essential Expanded plan has $15,000 Secondary Emergency Medical coverage (can be upgraded to $30,000), $150,000 Emergency Medical Evacuation (can be upgraded to $300,000) and higher overall benefits

The Essential Expanded plan has a $50 medical deductible (can be eliminated & you get an extra $15,000 medical for $10 - $55 per person depending on your age)

The Essential Basic plan has $10,000 Secondary Emergency Medical coverage (can be upgraded to $20,000) & $100,000 Emergency Medical Evacuation

The Essential Basic plan has a $50 medical deductible (can be eliminated & you get an extra $10,000 medical for $4 - $20 per person depending on your age). The Essential Basic doesn't cover pre-existing conditions & supplier financial default, either.

You have to buy no later than 14 calendar days after your initial trip deposit date to cover pre-existing conditions & supplier financial default, and the optional Cancel For Any Reason or Work upgrades

The maximum trip cost you can insure for pre-existing conditions is $15,000 per person. If your per person trip cost exceeds $15,000 you still have pre-existing conditions coverage on the first $15,000 per person trip cost.

You can insure a maximum trip cost of $100,000 per person with both Essential plans

Travel Guard can advance payment to a medical facility if needed to secure Your admission

The lowest trip cost you can cover is $0. This means you won't have any trip cancellation, trip interruption, financial default nor pre-existing conditions coverage

The Essential Expanded covers 1 child 17 & under free with each related adult on the same policy

The Essential plans have a 180 day Pre-existing Condition Lookback Period

You have a 14 day Free Look Period

Travel Guard's maximum trip length is 365 days
